WV Miners 11U win the championship at the Battle of the Bats tournament hosted by the Jane Lew Grizzlies.
It was a double dip kinda of tournament weekend for the WV Miners. Both 11U and 12U both brought home the championship during the Mountaineers Invitational Tournament.
West Virginia Miners began as the Harrison County Miners Baseball, sporting the classic colors of Columbia Blue and Black.
In 2024, we embraced a new identity as the West Virginia Miners Baseball, with a fresh color scheme of navy blue, old gold, and white. This change reflects the growth of our team, now comprised of talented players from across North Central West Virginia region, extending beyond Harrison County.
Our organization has seen significant growth over the past six years.
Looking ahead to the 2026 season, we’re proud to announce that we will have 6 teams in the following age divisions:
9U, 10U, 12U, 13U, 14U and 15U

WV Miners 11U brought home the ring in the Bombs for Moms Tournament Mother's Day weekend in Buckhannon, WV. 
The 11U strikes again! After losing both games in pool play on Saturday, the 11U West Virginia Miners (26-6) responded in dominant fashion on Sunday. The boys won three straight elimination games to capture the championship at the 5th Annual Pioneer Spring Slam in Glenville, finishing with a hard-fought 9-8 win over a strong Southside Freedom team. A true team comeback—congrats, Miners!

WV Miners 12U brings home a ring at their first tournament of the season! They went 4-0 weekend and CHAMPIONS of the Bridgeport Bracket Bash!
The 12U Miners split their Saturday pool play at the Perfect Game tournament in Myrtle Beach, falling 9-2 to OTZ Fire (White) before bouncing back with a thrilling 4-3 win over Carolina Fury. On Sunday, the team took a solid 4-0 lead in three innings against OTZ Fire (Clawson) 12U before a strong storm forced the cancellation of the remainder of the tournament. As the top seed in the Silver Bracket, the Miners were named Silver Bracket Champions.
The WV Miners 11U defeats Sky High Hawks 13-1 and South Brunswick Cubs 6-2 to finish pool play 2-0 in our Myrtle Beach tournament. Then on Sunday, the weather had other plans for us as the tournament was cancelled after storms hit the area that afternoon. The 11U Miners were named overall Runner Up as the No. 2 seed in the gold bracket. The overall experience was tremendous. The kids had a great time, and that’s all that matters.
The 14U Miners was named runner up at the Made in America Tournament in Parkersburg!
The WV Miners 8U finished the season as Runner Up at the Country Roads Season Closer in Bridgeport!
The 11U Miners are the Runners Up of the Tournament of Champions in Bridgeport, WV.
This weekend the 11U Miners eclipsed the 30 win plateau for the first time in program history, and now stand at 32-7 on the season. They have 1 more tournament left for the season.
The WV Miners 12U finish up the season being crowned the Champions of the King of the Creek Tournament in Weirton, WV.
