The West Virginia Miners would like to thank head coach Kassidy Gaines and the Salem University Baseball for taking time out of their preparations for their season and spending it with our 11U and 12U tonight. Our kids are blessed to have a local community partner in the Tigers that are willing to give back to our local youth. Best of luck this season! Go Tigers!

A few of our 12U Miners met up on the Middle School baseball diamond. Our team proudly represents a mix of talent from WI, Lincoln, South Harrison, and Parkersburg middle schools—a great blend of hometown pride and Miners spirit.
Our 11U Miners sluggers Brock and Wesley brought the power during pool play at the Bombs for Moms Tournament in Buckhannon! Wesley got things started with a solo shot to right field. In our next pool play game, Brock followed up with a two-run homer to left. Big swings from two big-time hitters!

Miners Give Back with the Challenger League We took a break from our usual practices and games to spend time on the field with some truly special players. For the second time, we’ve been blessed to be a small part of the Challenger League experience—an unforgettable day filled with smiles, teamwork, and the love of the game. Proud to give back through baseball!
What the Challenger League provides for these kids is nothing short of incredible. The joy, inclusion, and love for the game they foster is truly inspiring. Congratulations to our 4th 11U Miners slugger, Dante, on hitting his first career home run in Glenville! Dante launched a solo shot in the first inning, setting the tone for the Miners’ victory over the Bucs.
Congrats to these two studs—Grant and Corbin—on launching their first home runs of the season at the Bridgeport Bracket Bash Tournament! Kicking off the year with power at the plate—way to go, boys!
Our bats were on fire in Bridgeport! Grant (2), Corbin (2), and Owen (1) combined for five home runs during Sunday bracket play at the Bracket Bash. Huge congrats to these three sluggers for powering the offense—keep it rolling, boys!
In their first tournament of the season, the 12U Miners came out swinging and brought home the ring! A perfect 4-0 weekend capped off with a Championship win at the Bridgeport Bracket Bash. Congratulations, boys—what a way to start the season!
Our 11U Coaches for the Mother's Day tournament in Hurricane, WV. During this tournament the moms were the base coaches.
Even though the 11U Miners (23-6) dropped both pool play games today against the Bucs and Southside Freedom in Glenville, the bats still made noise. Congrats to Dante, Wesley, and Brock for each going yard once again—these sluggers continue to deliver at the plate!
Congratulations to Brock and Wesley for launching two more bombs and adding to their home run tally! Wesley crushed a two-run shot to center field during our second game of the day against the RiverJaxx. While Brock set the tone in the championship game with a homer to left field in the top of the first against Southside Freedom. Way to swing it, boys!
After losing both games in pool play on Saturday, the 11U West Virginia Miners (26-6) responded in dominant fashion on Sunday. The boys won three straight elimination games to capture the championship at the 5th Annual Pioneer Spring Slam in Glenville, finishing with a hard-fought 9-8 win over a strong Southside Freedom team. A true team comeback—congrats, Miners!
The 12U Miners (5-1) battled hard in Morgantown, going 1-1 on the day in pool play. The offense stayed hot with home runs from Will, Corbin, and Grant. Great work, boys—keep the momentum going!
Congratulations to Landyn on his first home run of the season! He crushed a three-run shot to left field in the bottom of the fifth, helping seal the win for the Miners over the SF Lions.

WV Miners is all about family. Miners Little League 11U All-Star players are joined by their teammates came to the District 5 Little League Championship game to cheer on.
Congratulations to the 11U Miners. Tournament of Champions Runner Up. This weekend the Miners eclipsed the 30 win plateau for the first time in program history, and now stand at 32-7 on the season, going into their final tournament of the year next weekend in Morgantown.
